CLASS MOMS NEEDED

AFTERSCHOOL ACTIVITIES

AFTERSCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Each homeroom needs a team of two (or three) moms who will be "on call" to assist teachers with events, projects, gatherings during the year. These moms also maintain the parent contact list and help get word out about special times and needs.

As of August 1, we are in need of moms for 

PRE-K    3   AND PRE-K 4  (2)

GRADE 1    (1)     GRADE 4  (1)

GRADE 5  (1)

GRADES 6,7,AND 8   (2 EACH)

AFTERSCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Most afterschool activities are taught or coached by either a faculty member or parent.

WE are in need of parent coaches for basketball, volleyball, softball,  (All are seasonal)

Some ACTIVITIES will begin during the week of September 15  (Drama, Hamptones, Hamptonix, Joyful Noise)

Others during the week of September 22. Watch for notices and registration!

There is a place for everyone....whether it is one hour a year, one a week,.or whenever there is a need.

Plan to involve yourself :  hot lunch Pancake Breakfast, fund raising drive (Bucks for Books), scenery and costumes,  chaperoning, etc

As of today, we need chairperson for

The extensive Fine Arts program at OLH includes small group instruction (twice each week) in violin, viola, cello and orchestra. A seperate fee is required for these  lessons. Wtch for the notice.

 *************IMPORTANT request for prayers,   SCARLETT PARRY, a new OLH second grader,  is undergoing  her treatments in NYC.  Her mom, Susan (OLH '95), Dad, John, big sister  (Maddie PREP  6 ) and twin brother  ( Easton grade 2)  are grateful for your thoughts and prayers of support! 


If you want to help Scarlett's family with cards, well-wishes, etc, ...   you can drop them off at school and we will see that they reach the family.... Or.......mail your cards to
